Aspirant Consulting Group is continuing to build and expand its training division and is proud to announce that Heidi Ramsey will be joining as a Leadership and Resiliency Instructor.
This addition reflects a deliberate investment in high impact training focused on the realities of modern policing. The goal is not theory, but practical leadership, resilience, and wellness delivered by professionals who have lived it.
Heidi brings more than two decades of law enforcement experience, having retired after 23 years with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, where she served in both operational and administrative roles. During her career, she developed nationally recognized programs including SIGNAL, the Public Safety Leadership Academy, and Ohio ASSIST, each designed to prepare, develop, and support law enforcement personnel at critical points in their careers and after critical incidents.
She currently serves as an instructor at the FBI National Academy, where she teaches Leading At Risk Employees, a course focused on equipping leaders to recognize and respond to personnel facing challenges such as post traumatic stress, substance use disorders, depression, and other high risk factors that impact both the individual and the organization. Her work has extended internationally, centered on leadership and resilience in high stress professions.
Heidi holds a Bachelor of Arts from Cleveland State University, a Master of Business Administration from Capital University, and a Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Employment Law from Capital University Law School. She is also a licensed attorney in the State of Ohio.
At Aspirant, Heidi will deliver training programs focused on leadership development, resiliency, and officer wellness. These are critical areas as agencies navigate staffing challenges, operational stress, and long term workforce sustainability.
We are continuing to expand our training offerings with a focus on practical, experience driven instruction that supports agencies and their people. Heidi’s addition is a meaningful step in that direction, and we are excited about what this will bring to the agencies we serve.
