Join the Instructor Team
Aspirant is interested in practitioners and specialists who can turn real expertise into credible, practical instruction for public-safety and municipal professionals.
What We Look For
A title or résumé alone does not make someone an effective instructor. We look for people who know the work, respect the audience, communicate clearly, and are willing to refine both their content and delivery.
Meaningful experience with the work, decisions, systems, or leadership challenges you intend to teach.
The ability to turn expertise into clear, useful learning for line personnel, supervisors, command staff, or municipal leaders.
Accurate, current content and a willingness to prepare, accept feedback, and improve the course after every delivery.
Humility, sound judgment, reliability, and respect for the people and agencies we serve.
Selection Process
Instructor needs vary by course, location, discipline, and schedule. Qualified applicants may be considered for an existing program or for development of a new course.
We review operational background, subject expertise, teaching experience, and alignment with current needs.
Selected applicants meet with the Aspirant team to discuss experience, audience, course concept, and availability.
We may request materials, references, a teaching sample, or a working session to evaluate substance and delivery.
If there is a mutual fit, scope, compensation, course ownership, preparation, and delivery expectations are confirmed in writing.
Instructor Application
Complete the application with enough detail for us to understand your experience, teaching focus, and potential contribution. If your background aligns with a current or developing need, we will contact you about the next step.
