Dan Razzette

Training Program Development, Instructor Coordination, Tactical Operations, and Agency Training

Dan Razzette serves as Aspirant's Director of Training. He is a law enforcement officer and full-time agency trainer with experience in patrol, investigations, specialized operations, and tactical response. His background includes service on an Emergency Response Team and instructor certifications across a broad range of law enforcement disciplines. Dan leads the development and coordination of Aspirant's training programs, working with instructors and host agencies to ensure each course is practical, current, and grounded in the realities of the job.

John String

Executive Leadership, Internal Affairs, Policy, Accreditation, and Organizational Performance

John String is a public-safety executive and co-founder of Aspirant Consulting Group. He serves as Chief of Police and Director of Public Safety for Narberth Borough and previously served as a lieutenant and patrol watch commander with the Lower Merion Township Police Department. His experience includes staff and inspections, accreditation, field training, canine operations, policy, internal investigations, and organizational leadership. John holds graduate training in public administration and is a graduate of Northwestern University's School of Police Staff and Command, the MALEEDS Regional Command College, and the FBI-LEEDA Leadership Trilogy.

Heidi A. Ramsey

Leadership, Resilience, Employee Wellness, and At-Risk Personnel

Heidi A. Ramsey retired after 23 years with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, where her work included training, labor relations, legal services, human resources, leadership development, and employee wellness. She developed programs including SIGNAL, the Public Safety Leadership Academy, and Ohio ASSIST. Heidi is an attorney and an instructor for law-enforcement executives at the FBI National Academy. She holds a Juris Doctor with an employment-law concentration, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts. Her instruction connects leadership expectations with the human realities of high-stress public-safety work.

Patrick Dolly

Field Training, Supervision, Curriculum Development, and Policy Implementation

Patrick Dolly is a police sergeant and training professional with experience across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His work includes patrol supervision, curriculum development, academy instruction, policy implementation, background investigations, use-of-force review, and leadership of an agency field training program. He is a certified law-enforcement instructor in both states and has taught recruits, field training officers, supervisors, and command-level leaders. Patrick holds a Master of Science in Justice Administration and a Bachelor of Criminal Justice. His courses emphasize consistent evaluation, useful documentation, coaching, accountability, and the supervisory systems that make field training defensible.

Mark T. Williams

Frontline Supervision, Organizational Development, and Command Leadership

Mark T. Williams is a patrol sergeant with more than 20 years of progressive law-enforcement experience. He oversees around-the-clock operations and personnel across patrol, communications, records, and administrative functions. Mark also teaches at Chestnut Hill College and the Temple University Police Academy, where he develops curriculum for future public-safety professionals. He holds a Master of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership, is a graduate of Northwestern University's School of Police Staff and Command, and is pursuing doctoral study in public administration. His instruction is grounded in the daily responsibilities of frontline and command leadership.

Matt Petrillo

Crisis Messaging, Media Relations, Public Narratives, and Organizational Credibility

Matt Petrillo is Director of Communications for Temple University's Department of Public Safety. He previously spent more than a decade in television journalism, including reporting for CBS News Philadelphia on breaking news, crime, public safety, and major incidents. That combination gives him firsthand knowledge of how information is gathered, framed, and distributed under pressure. Matt's instruction focuses on message discipline, media relations, internal coordination, strategic storytelling, and the choices that shape trust before, during, and after a crisis. He helps leaders understand what to say, when to say it, and how communication decisions affect operations and credibility.

Law Enforcement Training Instructor

Eric Fries

Frontline Supervision, Field Training, Patrol Investigations, and Tactical Operations

Eric Fries is a patrol sergeant with the Lower Merion Township Police Department. He previously served as a field training officer and platoon investigator and is a member of the department's Emergency Response Team. Before joining Lower Merion, Eric worked as an officer with the Philadelphia Housing Authority Police Department. A Philadelphia native, he holds a bachelor's degree in criminology from the University of South Florida. Eric brings a practical perspective on developing officers, reviewing incidents, making sound decisions under pressure, and providing consistent frontline supervision.

Ian Thornton

Ian Thornton is the Detective Sergeant of the Lower Merion Township Police Department, where he has served since 2012. His experience includes patrol operations, criminal investigations, recruitment, and tactical operations, including work as a member and team leader of the department's Emergency Response Team. As a supervisor, Ian emphasizes mentorship, officer development, sound decision-making, accountability, and community-oriented policing. His instruction connects investigative and tactical experience with the practical demands of supervising personnel, developing teams, and maintaining consistent performance in a modern law-enforcement organization.

Keith Moyer

Digital Evidence, Electronic Surveillance, Search Warrants, and Complex Investigations

Keith Moyer is a captain with a large state law enforcement agency in New Jersey and serves as Assistant Bureau Chief for the Official Corruption Bureau. His work includes complex investigations, federal task-force coordination, electronic surveillance, digital evidence, search warrants, and courtroom preparation. His instruction connects legal requirements with the operational decisions investigators must make when developing and presenting technology-supported cases.
