Aspirant Consulting Group Welcomes Dennis Marsili as Accreditation Specialist

Aspirant Consulting Group is proud to announce the addition of Dennis L. Marsili to our team as an Accreditation Specialist. Mr. Marsili brings decades of experience and a passion for public safety professionalism, along with a professional background in managerial experience, police academy teaching, curriculum development, and accreditation management.
Mr. Marsili's career includes 24 years with the City of New Kensington Police Department, where he retired as a Detective Sergeant. He served as the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission (PLEAC) Accreditation Manager for the department. After retiring from the New Kensington Police Department, he became the Program Coordinator, and later the Director, of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) Criminal Justice Training Center (CJTC).
During his time as Director, Mr. Marsili oversaw the CJTC's effort to achieve CALEA (Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies) accreditation, a goal they reached in 2021 and successfully achieved reaccreditation for in 2025. He also organized the development of the School Security Personnel (SSP) course following the enacting of Pennsylvania Act 67, which created a productive source of revenue for the center.
Mr. Marsili holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is dedicated to advancing professionalism in law enforcement and is currently involved as a Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Consultant and an Adjunct Professor at Carlow University in the Psychology, Counseling and Criminology Department.
